Eligibility

Taxila is CAT and XAT allied Business School. MAT score is also being considered for Jan/July admissions. Aspirants seeking admission to Taxila MBA+PGDBM must have min. 50 percentile marks in CAT, XAT, MAT or min 50% marks in graduation ( barring last year)

 
Applicants to all the programs of the institute are screened through a three tier process.
 
1. Written test CAT/XAT/MAT
2. Group discussion/ presentation
3. Personal interview 

Candidates from the following categories are exempted from the written test:

NRI   
NRI Sponsored  
Company sponsored

Regular Admission is granted to those applicants who have fulfilled all the admission requirements and whose name appears in the regular merit list of successful applicants.  
Corporate Sponsored and NRI / NRI Sponsored Candidate Category up to 10 % seats are in all allotted on following conditions:
 
1 Candidates are directly called for GD / PI / Write-up. They may also appear without CAT  examination.
2 It is a separate merit category based on GD and Interview, and graduation score.  
3 A fee as per schedule will be deposited annually/ Semester wise in advance.
4 In case of corporate sponsored candidates, the sponsoring company must have annual turnover of minimum Rs.5.0 crore.

Following documents are required at the time of interview for industry sponsored category candidate:
  
i. Latest Financial statements (Published Balance sheet and Income statement) be submitted at the time of GD / PI.
ii. A sponsorship letter is required from Company as per Annexure - 1 
iii. Original marks sheet for 10th Std. Exam.,  10+2 exam, graduation exam and  related degree, certificates for date of birth and  work experience (if any) 

Following documents are required at the time of interview for NRI/NRI sponsored category candidate:
  
I. Passport copy and evidence of NRI status Notary attested in the country of residence of NRI or by the related foreign embassy in India  
II. A sponsorship letter from NRI 
III. Original marks sheet for 10th Std. exam., 10+2 exam, graduation exam (with minimum 50% marks) and related degree, certificates for date of birth,  and  work experience (if any)
